Burt Lake and Mullet Lake, located in the heart of Northern Michigan's famed Inland waterway.

From a freshwater fishing point of view, it's hard to do better than Mullet and Burt Lakes.

The lakes boast more than a dozen fish species and are a part of the Michigan Inland Waterway, a system of lakes and rivers that originated as a Native American trade route. The lakes get their name from federal surveyors William Austin Burt and John Mullet, who originally documented the area from 1840 to 1843. The wood chart features a beautiful depiction of the lakes as well as the Cheboygan River, Royal Oak Beach and Indian River.

This piece comes ready to hang, pre-framed in a custom, solid-wood frame. Its rich contours are carefully crafted from laser-cut layers of Baltic birch, which are hand colored and glued together with the intent that each becomes a prized conversational piece and treasured heirloom.
