The cups are crafted from clay and finished with a special lead-free glaze for added durability. Each cup is meticulously shaped by Rodolfo and his team using a manual turntable. Since his childhood, Rodolfo has been creating Mexican ceramics, learning traditional techniques, shapes, painting, glazes, and finishes from his father.
These lead-free cups are traditionally meant to be refilled during the night at street fairs, but are usually treated as disposable. We have finished our cups with a special glaze to reinforce them. With proper care the cups could last for some time, but are still easily breakable and not dishwasher-safe. Hand wash with warm soapy water- not dishwasher-safe.
Approximate capacity is 16 oz.
