Susan and Doug Williams started Kalalou after years of traveling lesser-known parts of the world and acquiring unique artisnal provisions. They now curate and design furniture, décor, kitchenware, objects, and more. A Creole word referring to a stew of many ingredients, “Kalalou” is playfully named as a tribute to its products’ blend of colors, textures, whimsy, artisans, recycled materials, different countries, repurposed objects and lots of imagination.
