Morocco's four renowned pottery centers are distinguished by the unique hues of their clay. The vibrant red clay used to craft these exquisite pieces originates from Wadi Lan, where the rich, crimson soil is perfect for terra cotta creation. Skilled artisans shape the cups, sun-dry them, apply a lead-free glaze, and fire them twice in traditional outdoor kilns.
Finished with a timeless white glaze, the combination of lacquer and clay provides excellent insulation, maintaining the temperature of both hot and cold beverages.
We recommend hand-washing due to the porous nature of the terracotta. It is normal to see fine feathering cracks in the glaze.
