Our tortilla press is proudly crafted in Mexico using repurposed Singer sewing machines and other recycled iron materials. Cast iron was chosen for its ability to create perfectly uniform, flat tortillas and its unmatched durability, ensuring it lasts a lifetime.
Mix equal parts masa corn flour (widely available in grocery stores) with water; make a golf ball-sized dough. Line the press with parchment paper or a ziploc bag cut down the sides. Place the dough in between the paper/plastic, and close the press. Press once, rotate, and gently press again. Cook ~1 minute on each side. Then keep your tortillas warm in the included handmade servilleta napkin
