DBO HOME
With a commitment to craftsmanship and high-quality materials, husband-and-wife team Daniel Oates and Dana Brandwein create handmade modern heirlooms from their rural Connecticut studios. Everything bearing the DBO HOME name is made by hand with natural materials that feel as good as they look. The creative process happens around the kitchen table, where Dana and Daniel hash out everything from form to dimensions to process. Ceramics are created in Dana’s studio, where they start by being rolled, cut, and hand formed, or poured and hand finished.

This oversized tray is large enough for all of your antipasti on one platter or beautiful as a centerpiece. Seriously, the ultimate party dish.
About the Glaze
We developed our glaze recipes and mix them in small batches regularly. There will be variation. The indigo glaze is a combination of DBO's mussel glaze wiped into the pattern and then wiped out and dipped into our glossy clear glaze. Like magic in the kiln, the two make a beautiful indigo and white finish. You may see some organic specks on your piece, we do not consider these defects, just part of the handmade nature of our work.
Handmade Means...
There will be variations in color and size. No two pieces will be alike. Each piece is made to order in our partner's studio so please allow 15 business days for production. Larger orders like dinnerware sets or where noted in the product description may take longer. We will contact you if the delivery time is extended. There may be some imperfections but we only ship items we feel are perfectly imperfect.
