Crafting our 3D wood maps is a meticulous process. First, an artist laser-cuts thin layers of Baltic birch into precise shapes, which are then carefully layered and glued to achieve depth in each map. Major points of interest and other details are intricately etched into the wood before the addition of a custom wood frame. Finally, the map is finished with a protective, ultra-transparent sheet of durable acrylic to preserve its quality and longevity.
