Hawaii, commonly called the Big Island, is the largest and arguably the most dramatic island of the Hawaiian Islands. Its diverse terrain spans colored-sand beaches at Papakolea and Punalu’u to lush rainforest and, within Volcanoes National Park, 2 active volcanoes: Kilauea and Mauna Loa. Hapuna Beach and Kahaluu Beach Park in the west are known for snorkeling and water sports.

This piece comes ready to hang, pre-framed in a custom, solid-wood frame. Its rich contours are carefully crafted from laser-cut layers of Baltic birch, which are hand colored and glued together with the intent that each becomes a prized conversational piece and treasured heirloom.
