Lake Winnipesaukee features more than 250 islands and an impressive 288 miles of shoreline, making it the most elaborate of all the wood charts. It has been a popular summer getaway for New Yorkers and Bostonians for more than a hundred years and was the setting for America's first intercollegiate sporting event, the Harvard-Yale Regatta back in 1852.
