Key Biscayne Wood Chart
Lying just south of Miami, Key Biscayne is the southernmost of the barrier islands along Florida's Atlantic coast. Although it is named "Key", it isn't part of the Keys; it's actually a barrier island made from sand that has eroded from the Appalachian Mountains, carried to the coast by rivers, and then moved south by coastal currents.
